Se encuentra en un ambiete caluroso y suelo algo rocoso y partes con bosques de encinos y en donde puedes encontrar flora silvestre como orquídea,bromelias y otras especies de la flora regional y las piedras formadas en formas de tenate y miradores espectaculares hacía los valles centrales. Nivel de condicion fisica alto, zapatos de senderismo recomendable, ropa adecuado (sobrero, impermeables en invierno recomendado). Minimum de 1.5 litros de agua por persona y bastones de senderismo. This hike is in a hot and dry climates, on packed dirt and rocky terrain, through oak forest where you can find orchids, bromeliad and other native plants. The rock formations are in the shape of tenates, or baskets, and the hike includes lookouts with incredible views of the Central Valleys of Oaxaca. This hike is rated difficult and proper hiking shoes or boots are required, as well as a hat and rain gear in winter. Hiking poles are highly recommended and a minimum of 1.5 liters of water per person.
